Phillip S. Greenwalt is a historian with Emerging Civil War and co-founder of Emerging Revolutionary War. He is the author or co-author of six books on the American Revolutionary and Civil Wars. He has worked for the National Park Service for the last nineteen years, in both natural and cultural parks throughout the United States. He holds a Bachelor of History from Wheeling Jesuit University and two graduate degrees, one in American history from George Mason University and in International Affairs and Leadership from Arizona State University. He is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and currently resides in central Maryland.
